The
men at Mathews gather for devotion and breakfast
on the second Thursday evening of every month in the Social
Hall at 6:30 pm. The one exception is the month of February, when
they host the annual "Sweetheart's
Banquet." Please note that this
is a change in time; which use to be on the
first Sunday morning of each month at 8:00 am. A different speaker presents the devotion
each month and the men take turns in preparing
and serving the breakfast.

The
Men’s Club has several mission projects
throughout the year. Their primary
fundraiser is the annual Hash sale, which was a H-U-G-E
success this year. Watch the “Announcements

webpage for updated information about any of the
activities of the Men's Club.
Recently,
the Men's Club of Mathews United Methodist
Church purchased a brand-new stove for the
church kitchen. The men will use the new
stove to prepare the wonderful food served each
month during the Men's Breakfast program.
Other
organizations and groups in our church will also
have access to this newly-purchased stove to
prepare meals and to assist in the preparation
for special programs and events.
