Our
children are a vital part of our church
and it is crucial that we minister to and
nurture them in such a way that they grow
as disciples of Christ in a way that is
appropriate to their physical, mental, and
spiritual skills.
The
following ministries are offered for our
children:
We
have a Sunday School class for every age
group, from the Nursery through Senior
Adults, including classes for 2-5 year
olds, 1st and 2nd
grades, and 3rd through 5th
grades. Additional information can

Vacation
Bible School |
|
|
Every
summer we offer a Vacation Bible School at
Mathews.
We offer classes for every age
group that includes a Bible lesson,
crafts, games, and a light meal. Our
Vacation
Bible School
(VBS)
will be this summer during the week
of June 13th
- June 17th. Take a

Cub Scouting
Program |

We
are pleased at Mathews to sponsor Cub Scout Pack 905, under the leadership of
Cubmaster
Lori Lodge.
The
pack meets the last
Tuesday of each month,
while the dens (smaller
groups within the pack)
meet each Monday of each
month in Scout rooms
#101 & 103 at 6:30pm.
If you are interested in
helping with our new Cub
Scout Pack, or have
someone of Cub Scout age
(7 - 10, or in grades 1st
- 5th),
please do not hesitate
to contact the
Cub Scout Pack! Please note that during
the summer months of
June, July, and August;
that the dens will not
meet. The pack
will continue to have
its monthly Pack
Meetings and a Pack
Activity during each of
the months. |

Kids
of the Kingdom |
|

During
every Sunday morning
worship service, we have a
special time for the “Kids
of the Kingdom”
when all of our children
come down to the altar
area for a special message
just for them. David
Joseph prepares and presents
these messages to our
children each week. |
